Hey guys! Quarter 1 is finally in full swing with scripts due in less than ten days. I can already tell you that me and my partner Jonathan are on the right track to finishing our project on time. The reasons that I think we will finish on time is because we finished filming all our interviews in one day. We also have an idea of what the potential story could be. And it helped that we had our TIAS done before interviews so we could get the answers we want. The last reason that I fell we are gonna finish on time is that we will probably get most of our b-roll done ahead of schedule. This is why I feel we will finish on time.
Last Wednesday, me and Jonathan went to the Planation Coffee Company to film all of our interviews. But there was a reason why the interview was on Wednesday. We originally scheduled the interview for Monday. But when we arrived at the building on Monday, nobody was there. That kinda scared me a little. So I called the owner of the company and redirected me to the manager of the Company. It turned out that they had something else to do on Monday but they couldn't inform me because they didn't have my cellular number. Always leave contact info!!! So anyways, we filmed our interviews on Wednesday, got some pretty great answers, and ended the day on a good note.
We also have an idea of how we could form our story. Luckily, we were able to have our TIAS done before interviews so we could get the answers we need. And what I mean by that is to form your questions based on your story. So if you want to do a story about Traffic and the negative side of it, your question could be "What are the bad things that come from traffic?" Its hard to explain but once you understand it, you can form your story that much easily. Anyways, our story will probably be about the high school drop out and what there life is like after joining the Planation Coffee Company.
The last reason why i feel me and Jonathan are on track to finishing our project on time is because we will be filming most of our b-roll next Monday. Since we filmed all of our interviews already, we know about everything that they talked about so we will know exactly what types of shots we will be needing. But the thing that we need to remember when we go to film our b-roll, is to get a establishing shot (wide) of our setting. So in our case, we will get a wide shot of the building.
We thats about it for now. Overall, me and Jonathan are on track to finishing on time. We finished al of our interviews, have our possible story, and abo
